Plastic Extrusion Services

ou can produce a wide variety of profiles, shapes, and forms with varying thicknesses, hardness, colors, and textures with Clark Rubber & Plastic’s high-quality plastic extrusion.

We built our first facility for plastic operations back in 1997. Since then, we have consistently innovated new solutions that push the boundaries of modern plastic extrusion technology. We’re determined to tackle even the toughest applications.

Over the years, we have continued to expand our plastic capacity (for extrusion and injection molding) by adding six new lines as well as a 40,000 square-foot facility that opened in 2015. This extra space allows us to accommodate high-volume orders and deliver quick results. Contact us today to discover how we can help you with plastic extrusion, rubber molding, die cutting, and so much more.

Cutting-Edge Plastic Extrusion Technology

Our high-tech facility houses equipment capable of executing multiple plastic extrusion techniques, including co- and tri-extruding. This allows us to combine two or three materials with different properties and of varying colors into a single cross-section. Our extruded parts are fabricated from a wide range of certified plastic materials to meet the tightest tolerance requirements and provide superior structural integrity, uniform density, and long-lasting durability. We can produce small to large solid-cored profiles as well as tubing and sleeves from dual-durometer, military grade, and UL-approved materials. We also offer a variety of in-line supplementary processes. We manage an IATF 16949:2016 First Edition-certified quality assurance program that verifies your parts will be exactly to specification.

Getting the Right Plastic Extrusion Results

These products have been utilized in a wide range of industries, from military plastic parts to consumer products, and many of these high-quality parts are regularly employed in solar energy and water management. We can work with you to determine the specific needs of your project or industry, verifying that we deliver the quality, reliability, and pricing that your project requires to succeed. We will take the time to understand the demands of the product, the requirements and standards of your industry, and then make recommendations for the right materials, suggest design alternatives, and help you evaluate all the additional factors that may impact the results.

Understanding the Plastic Extrusion Process

Whether you are creating products for the automotive, military, solar, or other industries, our team will help simplify the plastic extrusion process. We offer a wide range of plastic types for you to choose from, depending on your project’s specifications. Once you have selected a material, our team heats and melts the product, and then pushes it through the specially shaped die. Once the material has cooled, we remove it from the die and trim or smooth the edges as necessary. We can also cut or roll the product, depending on what we are making. Our modern tools and equipment allow us to deliver consistent, reliable results for every order.
